brief

the Giant Steppes Festival is organized by the Giant Steppes of Jazz NGO The Festival’s objectives are those of the NGO – to promote jazz to the general audience in Mongolia as well as to provide jazz education and career development opportunities for Mongolian musicians. To accomplish these ends, the event combines performance, workshops and collaborative efforts between Mongolian and International musicians.

To answer all these goals, I proposed a full creation and development of GSOJ visual identity into several entities which could be developed through the time.

In addition to the branding concept work, I proposed venue location and stage design to develop the festival in several Ulaanbaatar locations.

new logotype for UB Jazz Club mixing traditional mogolian morin kuur string instrument and guitar, including the « UB » as Ulaanbaatar.

new logotype for Giant Steppes Educational Program, inspired by primary Giant Steppes of Jazz logotype.
